Terms and Conditions

By accessing or using KneadNow — whether as a client, therapist, or visitor — you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions and our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use our platform.

These terms apply to all users of kneadnow.polsia.app and any related services provided by KneadNow. "We," "us," and "KneadNow" refer to the KneadNow platform. "You" refers to any user accessing the platform.

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account. By creating an account, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate.

Therapist Accounts

To list massage slots on KneadNow, you must register as a therapist. By doing so, you represent and warrant that:

• You hold a valid, active massage therapy license in the jurisdiction where you practice.
• You have the legal right to provide massage therapy services professionally.
• All information in your profile — including license status, specialties, and location — is accurate and current.
• You will maintain your license in good standing and promptly update your profile if your license status changes.

KneadNow does not verify licenses independently. Misrepresentation of credentials is grounds for immediate account termination and may expose you to legal liability.

Client Accounts

Clients may browse open slots without an account, but booking requires registration. You agree to provide accurate contact and payment information, and to show up for confirmed appointments or cancel within the allowed window.

Account Security

You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials. Notify us immediately at support@kneadnow.polsia.app if you suspect unauthorized access. You are liable for all activity that occurs under your account.

How Bookings Work

Therapists list available time slots with details including massage type, duration, price, and location. Clients browse available slots and submit a booking request. A booking is confirmed when the therapist accepts it and payment is authorized.

Therapist Cancellations

Therapists should only list slots they are genuinely available for. If a therapist cancels a confirmed booking:

• The client receives a full refund.
• Repeated therapist cancellations may result in account suspension or removal from the platform.

Client Cancellations

• More than 24 hours before the session: Full refund, no penalty.
• Between 12–24 hours before the session: 50% refund; therapist receives 50% as a cancellation fee.
• Less than 12 hours before the session: No refund; therapist receives full payment as compensation for reserved time.
• No-show (no cancellation submitted): No refund; therapist receives full payment.

Cancellations must be submitted through the KneadNow platform — texting or calling a therapist directly does not constitute a valid cancellation for refund purposes.

Session Completion

Once a session is completed, either party may mark it as such via the platform. Disputes about whether a session was completed should be raised within 48 hours through our support channel.

Payment Processing

All payments on KneadNow are processed securely via Stripe. By making a payment, you authorize KneadNow to charge the total session amount at the time of booking. KneadNow does not store your full card details.

Platform Fee

KneadNow charges a platform fee on each completed transaction. This fee is used to operate and improve the marketplace, including payment processing, support, and platform development. The current fee structure is displayed during booking.

Therapist Payouts

Therapists receive payment for completed sessions after the platform fee is deducted. Payouts are processed within a standard settlement period as determined by our payment processor. Payout timing may vary based on your bank and location.

Disputes & Chargebacks

If you believe a charge is incorrect, contact us at support@kneadnow.polsia.app before initiating a chargeback with your bank. Chargebacks initiated without contacting us first, or chargebacks found to be fraudulent, may result in account suspension.

Taxes

Therapists are independent contractors, not employees of KneadNow. You are solely responsible for reporting and paying any applicable income taxes, self-employment taxes, or other taxes on your earnings from the platform.

KneadNow uses a two-way rating system. After each completed session, both the client and therapist are invited to rate the experience. This mutual accountability helps maintain quality and safety on both sides of the marketplace.

Rating Guidelines

• Ratings must reflect your genuine experience of the session.
• Reviews must be factual, respectful, and relevant to the service.
• Defamatory, harassing, or false statements are prohibited and may be removed.
• You may not offer or accept incentives in exchange for ratings.

Rating Visibility

Ratings are visible on public profiles. Aggregate ratings influence search ranking and booking confidence on the platform. We do not guarantee that all reviews will remain posted indefinitely — we reserve the right to remove content that violates these guidelines.

Responding to Ratings

Therapists may respond to reviews on their profile. Responses must meet the same standards as ratings — respectful, factual, and professional. Attempting to pressure clients to change or remove reviews is prohibited.

KneadNow is a professional marketplace for licensed massage therapy. You agree to use the platform lawfully and respectfully.

Prohibited Actions

• Requesting or offering any sexual services or engaging in sexual conduct of any kind. This is grounds for immediate, permanent account termination and may be reported to authorities.
• Creating fake profiles, impersonating other users, or misrepresenting credentials.
• Harassing, threatening, or discriminating against other users based on race, gender, age, disability, religion, sexual orientation, or any other protected characteristic.
• Attempting to circumvent the KneadNow platform for bookings or payments to avoid platform fees.
• Using the platform for any illegal activity.
• Spamming, scraping, or attempting to access other users' data without authorization.
• Posting inaccurate, misleading, or fraudulent information in your profile or listings.

Safety

Your safety is our priority. If you ever feel unsafe during a session or encounter inappropriate behavior, leave the situation and contact local authorities if necessary. Report the incident to KneadNow — we take all safety reports seriously and act quickly.

Marketplace Role

KneadNow is a technology platform that connects independent therapists with clients. We are not a massage therapy provider, employer of therapists, or party to the service agreement between therapist and client. Therapists are independent contractors who set their own prices, schedules, and service terms.

Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, KneadNow and its operators, officers, and employees will not be liable for:

• Any injury, harm, or damages arising from a massage session arranged through the platform.
• Actions or omissions of therapists or clients on the platform.
• Any indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages.
• Loss of data, revenue, or business opportunity.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless KneadNow from any claims, damages, or expenses (including legal fees) arising from your use of the platform, your violation of these terms, or your provision or receipt of massage services.

Disclaimer of Warranties

The platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not warrant that the platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that any particular therapist or session will meet your expectations.

We take your privacy seriously. Here is a summary of how we handle your data:

Data We Collect

• Account data: Name, email, phone number, role (therapist/client).
• Profile data: Location, massage specialties, license information (therapists), profile photo.
• Booking data: Session details, dates, times, payments, and completion status.
• Communications: Messages sent through our AI chat or support channels.
• Usage data: How you interact with the platform, for product improvement purposes.

How We Use Your Data

• To operate the marketplace and process bookings and payments.
• To display therapist profiles and reviews to clients browsing the platform.
• To send booking confirmations, reminders, and platform updates.
• To prevent fraud and improve platform safety.
• To improve our product and personalize your experience.

Data Sharing

We share limited data with third-party services required to operate the platform — specifically, Stripe for payment processing and SMS providers for booking notifications. We do not sell your personal data to advertisers or third parties.

Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal data by contacting us at support@kneadnow.polsia.app. Account deletion removes your personal data from active systems, subject to legal retention requirements.

Between Users

Disputes between therapists and clients — such as disagreements about session quality, no-shows, or professionalism — should first be raised with the other party directly. If unresolved, contact KneadNow support and we will mediate in good faith.

With KneadNow

If you have a dispute with KneadNow, please contact us at support@kneadnow.polsia.app and give us 30 days to resolve it informally before escalating.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the District of Columbia, United States, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any legal proceedings that cannot be resolved informally shall be brought exclusively in the courts of Washington, D.C.

Informal Resolution First

Both parties agree to attempt good-faith informal resolution before pursuing formal legal action. Most issues — billing, booking disputes, account questions — can be resolved through our support team within 2–3 business days.

Termination by You

You may close your account at any time by contacting us at support@kneadnow.polsia.app. Closing your account cancels any pending or future bookings and removes your profile from the marketplace. Outstanding obligations — including completing confirmed upcoming bookings or processing owed payments — must be resolved before account closure is finalized.

Termination by KneadNow

We reserve the right to suspend or permanently terminate any account for:

• Violation of these terms, including prohibited conduct.
• Misrepresentation of credentials or identity.
• Repeated cancellations causing harm to platform users.
• Fraudulent activity or chargebacks determined to be unjustified.
• Any conduct that damages the safety, trust, or integrity of the KneadNow community.

In cases of serious violations (particularly safety violations), termination is immediate and permanent. In other cases, we may provide a warning and opportunity to remedy the issue before termination.

Effect of Termination

Upon termination, your right to access the platform ceases. Provisions of these terms that by their nature should survive termination — including liability limitations, dispute resolution, and indemnification — continue to apply.

We may update these Terms and Conditions from time to time. When we do, we will update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page. For significant changes, we will notify users via email or a prominent notice on the platform.

Continued use of KneadNow after updated terms are posted constitutes your acceptance of the updated terms. If you disagree with updated terms, your remedy is to stop using the platform and close your account.

We encourage you to review these terms periodically. They exist to protect everyone on the platform — therapists and clients alike.
